Kelly Willis Toledo Concert reviews
Gary Allan @ the SJ Civic Auditorium
Kelly Willis, I LOVE LOVE LOVE. The soul of her voice moves me. Great guitar, violin, drum solos by the band performing with borrowed/newly purchased instruments (following the disaster in Canada). The band ROCKS, for country music that is!
The sound of her voice moves my soul, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Kelly Willis. Great guitar, violin, drum solos by the band performing with borrowed/newly purchased instruments (following the disaster in Canada). The band ROCKS (for country music that is)!
Maybe it was the acoustics of the auditorium, but I wish the sound guys did a better job of turning down the base and allowing more of the vocals to come through. I think more could have been done to improve the sound.
The Kelly Willis fan numbers may be few in San Jose, CA, but for those of us who love you... we love you lots! I'll do my part to share my love for your music with friends. Please come back. I'm anxiously waiting for your new album in the fall.
